Original Jungle DJ and AWOL resident, Darren Jay, teams up with Bassface Ibiza founder and former Together resident, Dirty Herbert, to bring a brand new weekly drum n bass sound clash to Ibiza. 

Darren Jay is one of the original pioneers of Jungle and Drum n Bass in the UK, Europe, Canada and Australia. Darren started playing in 1989 and his first residency at Asylum in Woolwich Polytechnic came soon after. He went on to work with Mr C, C.J. Mackintosh, Matthew B, Ricardo Da Force (KLF) and Frankie Bones before playing at “Rage” alongside Mickey Finn which led to a new residency for them both at the infamous AWOL. Here they teamed up with Randall, Kenny Ken, Dr. S Gachet and MC GQ and nearly 30 years later Darren remains resident, and partner, at AWOL. Since moving to Ibiza two years ago, Darren’s playing more soulful Drum n Bass and Liquid, with the occasional nod back to ‘that’ infamous Jungle sound he’s renowned for.

Dirty Herbert AKA Jazzy is a Drum & Bass DJ/Producer from the U.K, former Resident DJ for Together at Amnesia Ibiza (2019) and is also resident and founder of BassFace Ibiza. He’s supported the likes of Andy C, Pendulum, Chase & Status and SASASAS and many more in between. He is an avid 360 DnB enthusiast who uses many different styles to create his own productions and shows packed with twists and turns. As he takes you on a journey deep into Drum n Bass, expect nothing but infectious high energy performances and unique song selection.

The last couple of years have seen many of the big clubs in Ibiza successfully introduce urban nights to the island and now it’s the turn of Darren Jay and Dirty Herbert to join forces and bring their different musical backgrounds and DnB sounds together through a series of radio shows, parties and events as Drum & Bass returns to the White Island.
